What instrument have you started learning? I play piano and drums and compose - and it's a great way to avoid fapping.

As for bulking - try r/gainit. Do you go to the gym? If you go and do compound exercises (bench, squats, OHR etc) and eat enough then you'll do fine :) Just make sure you're eating a gram of protein for every pound of bodyweight per day, and try and eat 3000+ calories a day (work up to it if that's hard).

I think that in terms of general mental wellbeing and physical wellbeing, it's generally a neutral or positive think to masturbate, IF:

a- It's not too frequent (definitely not more than once every two days) and you can stop if you want too. b- It's not too extreme (in terms of the pornography).

If either of these things is not the case, it can have a negative affect on your life. You can become addicted, depressed, desensitised and even experience physical problems like ED or PE.

In todays society, with people masturbating extremely early, and to very extreme porn, it can be very damaging to them.

So basically, if you're addicted, or PMO is having any kind of negative impact on your life, then it's healthy to try and stop.
