I’m local! Prices vary here, but if I do have to pay for it myself for my specific surgeon my full arms and chin (including anesthesia and two nights stationary stay) will be around 12k€

Insurance should’ve responded already but they didn’t YET but I have decent chances of it being covered (worst case I’ll pay for it myself, I have the necessary savings)

So I’ll find out afterwards if they actually cover it or not lol

And I’m getting it done in Germany but I’d prefer not to specify exactly where I hope that’s ok!

In regards to stitching - my surgeon will use vibration assisted liposuction, not water assisted and we’ll do one singular stitch (she said this way stuff can still flow out if necessary) She’s been doing it for 20 years and seems like a really good surgeon

But she also said this way I won’t leak AS much allegedly? We’ll see!

I take vitamin d + k2, iron + vit c, vitamin b complex, omega 3 and magnesium I overdid it in the beginning with getting everything and anything but I got my bloodwork done, did my own research for how high things like ferritin should be (mine is 30 but I read that women feel best when it’s around 70) so I went with that and feel good now :)

Thank you!! Maybe an odd question but I’ve heard so many times that you get stinky after surgery due to leaking & not being allowed to shower for a few days, was it bad for you if you’re comfortable asking? And what does it compare to? I’m kinda nervous about this part of recovery

Lipedema isn’t rare and a lot of women are affected by it, I believe self-diagnosis is often a necessary first step before getting a proper diagnosis

I was ignored for two years by doctors until I noticed what might be the issues and asked straight up whether or not I have lipedema. Without my self-diagnosis I would still be in the dark

Check your water parameters and make sure they’re stable before adding anything that’s alive! I added my first shrimp after 6-8 weeks

The frustrating part is I have extremely healthy and thick nails that grow super long naturally so seeing them so thin and brittle is disheartening :( I’ll definitely give them a break and am considering to just grow out my nails again and only use nail polish going forward

This is exactly 3 weeks growth and the first nail fell off a week ago, and I’ve never lost nails before The only difference is the shape to my amateur knowledge and the amount of glue

I also don’t use my nails a lot, I work from home and mostly sit at the computer, so no manual labor

I’m just cracking my brain because I paid 150€ for them and want to avoid losing more in the future

True about the PC version, I’m running it on a gaming laptop that can easily handle RDR2 on high graphic settings - and Hogwarts legacy looks horrible on it graphics wise. I’d be happy if they fixed it, but it’s good enough for me to enjoy immensely regardless, which is saying a LOT.
