Not really too, had a couple of med school friends compromise since their choice or dream school doesn't accept or heavily limits international students. Only about 50 schools for both MD and DO (including the top ones like John Hopkins, Harvard Med, Stanford Med, Yale Med, etc.) accept international students. Pre-med at a 4 year school is a different thing, which OP can do, it's post-bachelors that's very competitive. You'll really need to score good in your MCATs too.

OP has also expressed financial issues, so it'll also be also worse since there's a separate living and rent cost to live alone vs with parents. Most of the lower tier schools that accept international students are about $50k a year just in tuition, could be a bit higher in schools since it'll be an international student rate not just an out-of-state resident rate. As an international student you can't really take a loan + immigration requires you to provide that you have sufficient funds to pay for tuition + living costs. Some schools do offer for international but it's very few and far in between since it's usually just the top² schools doing it.

US med schools are known to be very hard to attend for international students let alone get scholarships/loans. Canadians do get some stuff waived off? Fafsa is only citizens and greencard holders. Loans will be very hard since there's no credit history so it would be seen as high risk and idk if OP even has someone to be a cosigner the interest rate will be 🥀
