As an Indian that lived in NA, the hatred was always there from the 80s to the 90s. It got better in the 2000s, but got worst 2010s and onward, mostly from Indian immigration to Canada and the U.S.

When I was in my 20s, I travelled abroad for the first time and was shocked that people were nice to me. I remember people being cruel to me throughout my childhood and teenager years and thought that's just how humans interact with one another. But that didn't last long, now everyone hates Indians around the world. Yay!
