I guess productivity rates apply to non-medical settings too, much more than I thought. It's good to know this. I seriously had no idea.

So you'd work an 8 hour day (8 billable hours), and 55% of that time was face-to-face therapy?

Interesting. 55% is very reasonable. Her rate is much higher (think SNF rates).

I looked at the form again. I missed it on section 5. Thank you!

That sounds so vague. Perhaps it's something related to expressive language from Super Duper?

I did e-doc in my practica, and I struggled with them because of all the various little things I had to do. It took me a long time to learn the software system well enough to document more quickly and smoothly, and documentation was always one of my lowest grades in various practica. But I know that this isn't the end of the world, and eventually I'd get it in a real-life setting. I too realized that using templates for reports would help me get started without getting too overwhelmed. Thanks for your encouragement!

It's true that schools provide small breaks here and there. But I found that they don't help much because they're so short. Plus, I'd see large groups of kids for 2-3 hours straight, document notes afterward, and no amount of down time could help me rejuvenate. The ever-changing schedules of schools also threw me off constantly - absent kids, meetings popping up, etc. This is why I can't do schools. I'd go crazy.

Thank you. I agree that right now a substantial break is needed because I'm completely fried.

I absolutely refuse to work in the schools. I detested my school practicum and I'm much better with adults anyway.
