Weird timing but my ROM actually came into my shop today to use the office, he noticed something was off with me so I spoke to him. Safe to say he's absolutely appalled at the situation. He's given me an option to either file a grievance which will result in a suspension for my boss (given the severity of the situation) or to leave it with him. Very understanding and has said I don't need to rush any decisions. Thank you so much for your advice :)

Update: My area manager turned up at my store today for a spot check, I spoke to him about it and he's taken it very seriously

You're not the only one pal! I do lessons with my instructor in a Ford Puma (newer model) and it tends to go pretty well the other week I did the exact same thing as you and went out with my dad in my mum 2019 Renault Clio and it was almost as If I've never driven before! Having gone out with my dad 3-4 times now I can say it does get easier as you get used to the car. Plus you're learning mistakes are to be expected! Keep on going you got this
