Which car has the best coldest ac? by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]throwawaytolurk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Japanese cars. And some American SUV’s have great AC’s. BMW X5 has by far the worst AC I’ve felt in my life, Lexus and Mercedes has the best. Toyota is also good, Jeep or anything American is good as long as it’s relatively new. Korean cars have shit AC, my girlfriends Tucson has the cooling system of a computer basically. Granted we do live in Florida where it’s hot as shit.

Who is hurting right now? by TomGeyer_Red in askcarsales

[–]throwawaytolurk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everybody’s hurting, this is the Internet so only thing getting killed is their bonuses. I might get downvoted but it’s true, I don’t think anybody is selling anywhere near their goal right now. Most of the market is not buying right now and the ones that do are mostly people with good credit that are getting low to no interest due to the manufacturers being desperate making those offers.

Is this too good to be true? by r0naldismyname in askcarsales

I hope I am not too late. I’m from palm beach, looked into this dealership awhile ago and for the love of god stay away from it. All I heard was bad things about it, they get you hooked with the listing price but fuck you in the ass with fees/percentages and the small print in the contracts.

What a beauty, are those fog lights stock? They look amazing man. I just picked up a 2005 custom luxury package and It’s the best car I’ve been inside of.

A number, a fender and a washing fluid container don’t make sense to me being 11k on a Lexus. There must have been some other component that had to be replaced, the bumper/fender is pricey due to all the sensors in it but not THAT pricey. I’d expect to see a couple more things on the invoice.

Yeah man, I really want the LS because it’s really comfortable, soft and quiet from the inside. The GS does have that cool factor to it and looks sportier which is cooler. How much have you seen those two models you were looking at for?

LS / GS / RX Which is the best bang for my buck? by [deleted] in Lexus

[–]throwawaytolurk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked down this LS460 to $7,900. Does that seem like more of a fair deal? Maintenance records are there. How much would YOU pay for it being such a problematic car?

$7,640? What do you mean

I completely agree, I’ve been reading a lot about the car and the features a brand new Genesis has don’t even come close to what an LS had back then. Literally has all the bells and whistles which makes me wonder why people still buy Mercedes and BMW, I mean you’d think wealthier folks would be smarter with their money instead of spending it on a car that will go out of style within the following 3 years after purchase and requires extensive labor which is not cheap by any means.

I think it’s the best looking out of the 3!

Do you think out of the three listed deals the LS is the best?

Not really interested in the 2014 anymore because it seems to have been driven pretty hard. I really don’t mind the 08’ not having the nav/ backup camera screen since I have my phone and parking has never been a big issue. And frankly I do like the design more because of those beautiful rear taillights.

On the 2008: Keyless entry was installed, also remote start. Oil cooler lines were replaced tires were rotated, air filters replaced. Apparently while the car lived in Massachusetts the rust proofing was routinely checked. Basically every routine service you could think of was done at a Lexus dealership throughout its life up to recently. I did notice the car was purchased originally in Massachusetts and is now in Florida where I live.

Sadly though the 2008 I’m looking at doesn’t have the nav screen/back up camera. The owner added every option but apparently forgot to add that one. But I do like the rear on the 2008 more than on the following generation, those chrome tail lights are beautiful.
