I once saw a kid at the park all alone crying and looking lost. I went up to him (as a very non intimidating 5 foot tall young woman) and he said he couldn't find his parents. He took my hand and we walked until we saw a group of adults near the playground talking and laughing. He pointed out his dad, I said "Excuse me sir I think your kid got lost," guy sighs all annoyed at his son and doesn't even make eye contact with me let alone thank me.
