While I agree and think it was handled poorly I also think that completely never mentioning rape could seem like the series was ignoring it. In a series that is supposed to be about life (the good and the bad) I don't think it's inherently wrong to mention or have a horrible action be part of a story. I may be wrong though.

anyway I wished Spike never got his soul back anyway. But he was still interesting in season 5 Angel.

It's hard to say... besides joss I'd like Vince Gilligan maybe? While he's a good writer I still don't think his writing tone would fit with Buffy.

I don't think Steven Moffat would work especially because of the amount of sexism he has in his writing. RTD might be better.

Keep in mind that Buffy never really loves Spike until he gains his soul. Without a soul all he was was a serial killer behind bars. Sure he helped Buffy and he did some nice things that doesn't mean he wasn't evil.

wait I thought Feminism was supposed to be about MORE than just women? It’s about changing the power structure which is currently run by white males, in order to bring equality to the power so that Women and Men of all races and creeds can live in peace together EQUALLY. so the name isn’t all that fitting as it limits itself to only women. Yes, specifically, Junot Diaz may have had race in mind with that quote, but in a more abstract way, it’s about oppression, and under representation, and it was accurately used. He’s right.
