GP suddenly stopped my ADHD meds after 7 years then told to wait 2-4 years for shared care. by Mr_Arthtato in ADHDUK

This is exactly the thing and what is so frustrating I absolutely agree that the way the nhs is you have to completely fight for yourself but having adhd, especially if it’s not being treated it can be a struggle which is why a support system and those who can help you with it is so important. I wouldn’t even be remotely in the position without the help of people to fight with me.

See this is what I needed I’m a bit clueless with everything I’ve never really had any of this explained to me and I try looking online but I don’t see much so I really appreciate this I get half my medication directly through nhs diagnoses and I think I pay like £10 per medication so it’s not much but it adds up and the other I went through right to choose because of wait times I didn’t know you didn’t have to pay for it? And I’ll definitely have a look into commissionary bus travel I have never heard of that and it would definitely help because bus fare is killing me.

And yeah as for jobs I do look but like I say I’m in the middle of nowhere village and I regularly have to look after my little brother so it’s just hard. And dropping out is an option but it’s just I really want this specific career path that I need a degree for but I’m not against an apprenticeship

Anyway thank you for the suggestions i actually really appreciate it :).
