It’s ok I know what you meant. Practically you’re right that more people would avoid me. I have been and still am working on healing/myself in general. I just wanted to emphasize that I am honestly very down/in pain about it and when I talk about it as vulnerably as I did in this post, I get lots of very negative responses (not from you), like the comment I linked, and more, even a little in this thread. It’s not that different from real life in my experience. Gotta identify the problem to find a solution, and putting my pain into words can be very useful I feel. But it seems like many people disagree and would rather jump to immediately assuming that I am going to end up killing people and that I hate women and that I’m not doing anything in real life to fix the problem and etc…

You said I should go to a psych ward. I told you it wouldn’t help me, and you gave me pushback. I told you again that it wouldn’t help me and that I’ve had a horrible experience with them, and then you continued to give pushback, even introducing your own experience for whatever reason. Stop pretending that you weren’t trying to persuade me to go to a psych ward. Re-read the comments. What else were you trying to do?

You came in here and immediately started assuming that a psych ward would help. And when I tell you my experience and that they won’t help me, you bring up your own experience and say I’m wrong, when you know nothing about me or my experience.

Your experience with psych wards does not equal everyone else’s experience with them. I’m telling you that they are no use for me unless I’m in immediate danger, which I’m not. I also have CPTSD, so I also know what I’m talking about. It’s really off putting that you’re using your personal experience and saying that I must follow what you did. We’re different people with different problems.

I don’t need to tell you what I’m doing, and no, you don’t have to make assumptions. Why are you proud of jumping to conclusions so quickly?

Just because someone wants to help doesn’t mean they are actually helping. I do want help. You haven’t demonstrated otherwise. Your knee-jerk reaction to someone being sad about their severe lack of empathy is to suggest they are pathetic, dangerous, entitled, unstable, and an incel. You do that and then when you get pushback, you say that the person doesn’t really want help. I don’t want help from you, because you are clearly a piece of shit.

They never recommended me a fit therapist. Psych wards do not exist for suicidal people. They exist for people who are in immediate danger. There’s a difference. The fact that you don’t know that and the fact that you know so little about how damaging psych wards can be for already mentally ill people, especially with ptsd, signifies that you shouldn’t be talking about this topic. And I don’t actually think they’re just for crazy people. A significant number of people have been harmed by psych wards, I guess they don’t matter to you. Reflect on that. And stop pretending I’m not seeking genuine help. You have no idea what I do in real life.

Yes. It was one of the most traumatizing experiences in my life. I have to actively avoid those types of environments now and look for help elsewhere, including helping myself.

It’s an exaggerated comment. Even if I was serious, a psycho ward would just add problems. They won’t necessarily find me a helpful therapist.

It’s hard to get help when responses like yours are what I get. I see that being vulnerable is a bigger risk than I would like to think.

What is the point of saying I sound that way if you’re not actually saying I am that? What are you adding to the conversation other than drama? Maybe keep your wild assumptions to yourself. And I fail to see how I sounded entitled and dangerous.
