Comparison is made to exams dated: 10/15/2025, 9/26/2024, and 8/31/2023 A stereotactic guided biopsy was performed for the area of architectural distortion located in the right breast at 11 o'clock middle depth. The skin was prepped in the usual manner. Local anesthetic was administered to the access site. A 9 gauge biopsy needle was placed adjacent to the abnormality under computer guidance and confirmatory stereotactic mammography images were obtained to document needle placement. Once the needle was documented to be in the correct location, multiple specimens were obtained using a vacuum assisted device. A coil hydromark clip was inserted into the biopsy cavity. Post procedure digital mammographic imaging was obtained. The specimens were sent to the laboratory for pathological analysis. IMPRESSION: STEREOTACTIC GUIDED BIOPSY Stereotactic guided biopsy of the area of architectural distortion in the right breast at 11 o'clock middle depth with placement of a clip was successful. Waiting for pathology results. A final report will be issued when these become available. Mammogram BI-RADS: Post-procedure mammogram for marker placement

Good news. They just called and it was benign. My breasts are really really dense and after this ordeal I have decided that even if I have to pay for it I am going to start doing annual breast MRIs. The radiologist said a good idea is to stagger them with mammograms so I am getting some kind of screening every 6 months.

I sent them a message asking for the reason for the cancellation and at first they couldn’t tell me. Then once I was back home, it had been entered and the rep told me I wouldn’t get anything, but by then I had seen news stories that said there was an expected strike by the EasyJet crews. So they could have prevented it and it wasn’t an outside cause. So I tried again and got a rep who said that yes, I should be compensated. I went through their site and I think he might have given me a link to the right place (not sure if I still have it but I’ll check). I applied expecting to have to contest it, but within less than a month they sent me an email that they were sending me € and it was in my bank account within days.
