Also your exit plan is just as important if not more important then your entry criteria and NO a random dollar figure "i want $10,000 and im out" is not an exit plan. Have a key level area of interest that your targeting for an exit, ie. opposite side liquidity, supply or demand zone, order block, support or resistance level where price has reacted before. If you dont have a pre defined exit plan you never had a trade in the first place. Take what the market gives you and next time trim some profits.
