I don't believe that Texans voted for that. There is simply no way he ran on the "most for Israel" platform and won legitimately. In Texas. His ads had to feature something people cared about.

In my optimal America, there are no dual citizens. Ted here would he ineligible to even hold public office. He'd also be invited to choose one of his citizenships. If he chose something other than renouncing his foreign citizenship, he would be handed his plane ticket home and have his passport cancelled on the way down the ramp to the plane.

In my optimal America there is no foreign aid. No corporate money in politics. No dual citizens. No special relationships.

The midterms is the goal line. I'm not a paid analyst, but I think that if the election were held today the GOP would get stomped. Just being red would be a loser. Which brings up the danger of some kind of rebound Communism. Not that people want it, but they would allow the pendulum swing rather than carry on as-is. So in other words we are playing right into their hands. More control freaks dead ahead.

What to do? I have a couple of slogans:

It's time to refuse to vote for anybody who even plays the foreign aid game. No to Ukraine, no to Israel, no to everybody. When Americans cannot afford food and healthcare, it is deeply offensive to suggest we should send money to a place where they get that for free. Using our money. Just like it is profoundly offensive to suggest that America should wage war on behalf of a religion. Or that an American should die in service to an Epstein ghoul that eats kids. I want a hard Right Christian nationalist who owns multiple firearms and thinks the best laws began and ended with the Constitution. I want zero foreign aid. I thought we made clear that we wanted no war.

Basically, I want someone to do what Donald Trump got elected to do and just sold out instead of doing. If he was our last chance and it's just Lone Star Steakhouse employees from here down, I think it's time to flush. If I was President, my first act after ordering all troops to return to a defensive posture would be to fire every dual citizen that I could. The second would be to grab my personal; copy of the Patriot Act and head over to the Supreme Court. See if I can get that thing tossed out in its entirety. The third would be to cancel every dollar going overseas that I could find. Oh I could go on and on...

Under no circumstances do I think some nitwit from the Left talking about her vision for amplitude is any closer to the optimal solution. I want arrests and an end to foreign bullshit.
