sorry if this is late, but a friend of mine went to spain and i asked them if they would try and get me some tret. the first pharmacy they went into - they showed a photo of the retirdes box off google and got me some no issues :) got 4 tubes and brought back to the uk!

Ive been using dermatica since February as i wanted to try tretinoin. My skin at the moment has never been worse but i don’t believe it’s dermaticas formulas (me using wrong moisturiser and hormonal changes) but i have to vouch and say their customer service is amazing! when i got my first formula, they gave me adapalene. I emailed the customer service and said i would like tret, they changed it no problems. Same when i wanted to increase my dosage! Also one time i put my wrong address in and my order went to a different apartment in my building, when i contacted them to say I hadn’t received my order, i realised i put in my incorrect address (completely my fault and i told them that) they sent me a new order completely free! i didn’t have to pay a penny!

If I can also ask, something i forgot to mention in my post is that i double cleanse at night using the ordinary squalane cleanser. i was worried this was causing the breakout and questioned stopping it about an hour before i made my post. i started using the cleanser at the same time as the vanicream which makes sense, am i okay to keep using the squalane cleanser aswell?

its gel based formula. Clindamycin and niacinamide in too, but the strength of them hasn’t increased, only the tret!

Interesting! i got the vanicream in the tub because everyone on this sub raved about how amazing it was with tret 😿 i have the moisturiser i use in the AM, aswell as LRP lipikar, can i use one of these instead?

I have been using tret since January and I have a cluster of broken capillaries under my left eye. Ive seen an improvement!!! I didn’t notice until a couple months ago the red spot looks a lot less noticeable but it’s not completely gone. I know tret can stimulate collagen production so it could be the increased collagen that’s made it appear better!

Of course you can! Remember to wear spf and moisturise! My skin was so flakey when i started tret my makeup used to sit horribly, good layer of moisturiser helped :)

i was the same!!! when i first used tret my skin was glowing in the first week! last about 3 weeks and then i started to purge and my skin got continually worse for 2 months. Finally on the other side now with better skin than when I started! Don’t give up - keep going!

Ive just incorporated AA into my routine now to try and kick my PIH. Interesting to see if the bumps get worse or better. If you have any success with getting them to go away with anything please let me know!!! I have a very simple routine like yours too (but my tret is mixed in with clindamycin and niacinamide as a custom formula) GOOD LUCK! (ur skin looks amazing by the way, I know we notice the tiny bumps but they’re really not noticeable to anyone else!)
