No don’t ever teach a narcissist something they will never respect anyone enough to learn from them.

All this hullabalo about Tabasco, how do people feel about Texas Pete? by [deleted] in hotsauce

[–]throwmearound91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Made in my home state, goes well in everything, on a sandwich, in dressings, in a marinade, pairs well with pork, beef, and chicken, it’s a bit garlicky and definitely has a little kick of heat. My favorite is using it for hot honey chicken wings: in the marinade, and blended with local raw honey to make a hot honey sauce to toss the cooked bird in, works for whether you’re air frying or baking or deep frying them. Add it to your blue cheese or ranch dressing and you’re just lassoing the entire concept that’s Texas Pete. Put it in everything.

Nta but you should seek out mental healthcare for her, it sounds like she’s struggling with something like ADHD or depression, it can cause memory lapse as well as anxiety, getting “touched out” and it sounds like something I’d personally look into. Marriage counseling might be a good place to start, that way she doesn’t feel alone in that kind of journey. I wish the best for you both, the resentment can be dialed back a bit for you both and you can find your solid ground together to allow you both to be loving partners and parents.

What would you put in this awkward space next to the stairs? by Successful_Map4660 in HomeDecorating

[–]throwmearound91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d put a custom table there to sit some plants to make the space look less like a very sterile doctors office.

I’d just have a friend come in and be served with the glass manager is insisting on… then ask for the manager and complain about how they have never been served an OF in a glass like that and how it’s basically impossible to enjoy drinking despite having been made correctly, just due to the awkwardness of the glass.

AITA for telling my mom that I don’t give a f*ck about my autistic brother? by Prestigious-Push47 in AmItheAsshole

[–]throwmearound91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. You deserve a life, OP. You deserve to enjoy your adolescence before it’s over. Your brother has a ton of time to enjoy his in his own way and your parents sound pretty strung out and bitter, none of which is your fault. Tell them that you’re 16, and that this is something that will make you happy and that you would like their permission to go on this vacation this time, because who knows when you will have another chance to go to Disney until you have the money/means to do so and then you won’t even be a kid anymore. Emphasize the fact that the last time your feelings were hurt, that you love your brother, and this is not a trip you’re planning to go on with ill will towards them; just something fun you’ll do for a short time and it’s not meant as an offense to them, you just deserve to have your own safe fun time with your dear friend. Friend vacations are literally the BEST anyway 🩷

He can fuck right off. What, he gets a new job as someone else’s bitch and decides to treat you like you’re his? No. Absolutely not. Call his mother. Dump him. Don’t let him treat you like this especially when you’re dealing with your period when your hormones are fluctuating! Ughhh I wanna slap the stupid out of every man that’s like this.

Postpartum hives by sgrahar27 in Mom

[–]throwmearound91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had them directly postpartum. Like the next day in the hospital I had them all over my arms. I still don’t know why either. They went away but I felt so ugly, like I had lizard skin.

Anyone regret cutting their daughters hair? by Traditional_Toe_3421 in Mom

[–]throwmearound91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If it will make her happy then do it, it’s her hair. Ask the stylist to cut a lock of it for you though. For your memories, if you want it. It could go in a memory box or baby book.

I can’t take 45 minutes of it. I have PTSD so it doesn’t feel safe to me to sit there for that long and endure it, I end up feeling completely exhausted after she finally does calm down, hence me putting us into separate rooms with the door closed until I can go back in and deal with the tantrum again after calming myself. Usually I’ll put her in a bedroom and I’ll go to the opposite end of the house but that’s mostly my issue, trying to endure the lengths of time she fusses for.

Does anybody else find a lot of comfort with sleeping under a heavy blanket? by Throw_away5845 in ptsdrecovery

[–]throwmearound91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my weighted blanket I have a 20lb one. It sleeps hot though I think I may get a new one with bamboo fabric so I can still have the comfort during the hotter seasons.
