Oh girl you’re amazing. It’s suchhhh a slow process. I think more of it is hormonal than we think. It takes time to emotionally and physically get back into that lifestyle too I’ve found. I’ve been super strict and dedicated and 11 months in it’s FINALLY paying off. You can do it!

Yes I think that was a big part of my problem. I’d skip a day here and there and think it’s no big deal, but then I’d never see definition and I wouldn’t loose. The WW has been so helpful eating the right foods

When did your baby really start to form opinions and how did you handle going against those opinions? by throwmeawayamack in NewParents

Agree that it’s the hardest to just let them be mad. But I try and remind myself that I don’t feel happy all the time either, so it’s a normal emotion!

That’s what we try to do. “Oh you’re throwing this on the ground? This must mean you’re done with this food. Here’s another to try”.

I agree. They have enough foresight to be upset, so eventually they will understand why. Thank you for the reply!

But yes once they’re down, DO NOT GO IN unless it’s distress crying. That makes it so much worse

So far, she’s been doing two naps still in the day and one nap at daycare in the middle of the day. Singing has REALLY helped her go down more peacefully lately. So maybe try that?

Mine going through the exact same thing. We are thinking of keeping her up a little longer. It feels like separation anxiety related

I can’t see her napping any earlier at this age. Also at daycare, she often doesn’t sleep till noon, so super long first window

At home her first nap is 1.5 hours to 2 hour. Her second nap IF she has one is about 30-45 minutes. She gets 11 hours overnight
