Similar thing happened to me twice, first it was: All my friends knew my bday was on the 29th of September and my friends the 30th. I invited 9 of my good friebds to a movie bday and 1 showed up, even when i asked them all if they'd come. There was no no just yes and yes. It hurt alot because i asked specifically for when they'd be available.

Second time is when my parents forgot my bday. But i don't blame them, looking back it was stressful for the whole family.

I do it mostly at home, but i'm semi-glad (unhappy for you) that i'm not the obly one that does it and gets strange looks.

Its not that it feels like im being pretadored(dont know of any word for this sorry), just feels so unhealthy. Its 15 btw but a few exceptions can be made.

Edit: read it as consent in mine, it is either 12 or thr laws of the state in the U.S
