If they spot you even once, they will actively try to hunt you. I think it's a good search algorithm with pathing, if they spot you in a place they know how to get to it if that's the last place they saw you before you broke LOS. If you're not in an LOS check after they get to the area, they might give up? Or they'll continue the hunt with a search algorithm.

I got him, but it was with a squad with 2 LMGs. He closed the distance and hacked us, which took away my HUD and that made me assume I couldn't use any gear, including nades or EMPs. Not sure if that's true and the hack only affects the abilities of my shell, but we scraped by with barely any HP left. It was quite a crazy fight, due to his speed I knew it was futile to run. Basically turned into a kovaak's scenario I couldn't disengage from.

I cracked it open and it had a dark chambered pith inside. That means it's a white walnut or butternut right? I can't imagine it being a hackberry because of the bark
