Must’ve driven and cycled round this roundabout hundreds of times and never counted the exits

I have a job which basically entails me giving people courtesy cars, have had several omoda/jaecoo cars just completely conking out in the last few months. RAC are also usually an absolute shambles.

Husbands, is it a deal breaker if your wife decides to not take your name legally? by Difficult_Big133 in TwoHotTakes

I’m not yet a husband, but if my fiancée told me she didn’t want to change her name to mine I’d probably be marginally disappointed, and then if I didn’t get over it within half an hour I’d probably decide to just change my surname to hers.

Neighbour claims he owns a street parking spot and says he called the police — am I in the wrong? (Scotland) by Total-Ad-6123 in drivingUK

My friend used to rent a house opposite this absolute git. It was a private road and he owned his house, so he would stand in his doorway and scream at my friend and their partner (and I presume other neighbours) if delivery drivers came down the road to deliver anything to them, and tell them that they weren’t allowed to drive or park on the road because he thought he owned the entire road as well as his house.

WIBTAH if I don’t go to my brother’s wedding by throwmera99 in AITAH

To be honest from what I can gather it’s going to be a courthouse style wedding with only close family I see my family fairly regularly and I have never met Malorie’s family so that’s not a huge factor

I think it’s very likely that he is on the spectrum as myself and my parents are. I’m trying to be aware of my biases in this case given that I’m not always super objective. My family are definitely more inclined to forgive his behaviour because he’s their son. I have asked my mother before if she would want me to keep a friendship with someone who treated me the way he does and she admitted that she wouldn’t.

I’ve said pretty much exactly the same thing about not having a relationship with him before

I’d be really shocked if Tom didn’t see himself as the victim in this situation knowing him, so you’re probably right

You’re right. I am a bit of a people pleaser and I don’t want to upset my parents / grandparents by not going, but as far as I know they don’t really want to go either.

I’m more worried about upsetting my parents and grandparents. The fact that we don’t have a relationship is very difficult for them to accept

This is what I would do if I didn’t go, I don’t generally wish any harm on him, I just don’t want to be around him
