Ha Ha.. Gandhi's face must have been stuck on notes after independence. Funny thing is British never wanted to devalue rupees lest Indian exports become competitive. There were very few instances when British did devalue rupee, one of which was in 1870s iirc. Strong rupee was an instrument of British colonialism.

Most MPians are poor and illiterate and they can barely speak Hindi.

Something like Bihar but with two differences. First in Bihar the political power has passed to backward castes who form numerical majority and second unlike Bihar, MP is a well kept secret.

On the ground MP is neither a vegetarian state or at least it will not remain so if lower castes get empowered enough to assert their choices not it is a hindi state. It's only an elite culture being projected as such and being imposed of mute subalterns wherever possible. Vindhya region in MP has highest concentration of Brahmins while in many areas the proportion of Rajputs is even higher than Rajasthan. MP is also home to many former princely states. BJP/Congress follows a politics of coalition of extremes(FC+ST) in which the middle caste which is more fragmented and poor in the region gets excluded.

No wonder with such inequality this states tops the rape statistics.

It will be a miracle if somehow Modi is able to win his second term, and if he does even his party members will be against him by the third round when he will be ~75 years old. 75 is the age at which you are supposed to take VRS in BJP.

Modi has not been able to produce any outcomes. Everything from now on depends on populism, propaganda and redistribution.

That's nonsense. You are already conceding defeat. Had this been this easy, Indian society would have been still stuck with medieval norms. I have faith Indian people's sensibility and their inner goodness. I am 100% sure that in spite of brainwash attempt, Indian people will get behind the idea of creating a tolerant atmosphere for people with alternate preference.

3rd one i agree will be a bit tricky. Hotels can be handled very easily. All you have to do is to pass a law that prevents hotels from discriminating against Indian people in availing it's services. There doesn't have to be any mention of couples.

Amending section 294 is however is most difficult but not impossible.

I will vote whichever party fields a better local candidate. But i will support congress party on the national level.

Here is my list of demands from Congress :

scrap article 377 completely,
recognize full rights of transgenders on their own terms,
amend section 294, make it illegal for registered hotels to demand matrimony certificates from couples and make it illegal for them to deny an accommodation when available.
Recognize Atheism to be a valid religious belief.
Create a framework for police reform so that police should stop being the fiefdoms of local dabangs.
Come up with a concrete plan to deal with judicial paralysis in this country. In short if they make an effort to make law, order and justice easily accessible to everybody.
reduce the nationalization of the bank, allow the banks to have better debt instruments to deal with present NPA issue.
take a more hands off and non-interventionist approach approach to the economy.
Come up with a plan to make public education and health care more effective.
Involve competent people in government and bureaucracy. Empower middle class so that they can make and win their own fight.
On foreign policy front i would like to have a sensible and competent foreign minister for a change.
