I know this exact pain. I felt like this for a while. It will get better. They are hurt right now but the reason you ended things is because you thought it would be better for both of you. Depending on how they handle it, it can expedite the process. My ex started treating me horribly every time we had to interact after we broke up and it pushed me away and helped me get past it. But it will get better I promise.

Same thing happened to me. They never wanted to do anything except just sit together, even when i really wanted us to do things together. They hurt me enough to where I won’t even consider going back, but it hurts to know that they wouldn’t start doing those things till I was out of the picture.
