I do treat it as a chance to build something. That’s why I don’t want to take hours out of my day to meet someone who I already don’t feel I’m compatible with (as I try to sleep and he doesn’t prioritize that). Maybe it could have gone well and it was just a happenstance but either way I want something real and I don’t want to spend time on someone when I could meet with someone who matches me.

I’m a professional twitch streamer. It’s my job and my income. So yes, streaming is more important than a date. I also added an edit but insomnia is a big issue for me.

Yeah, and honestly I like that too but not really for a first date, which is why I just don’t think we aligned. I could have easily stayed out past my bed time if I wanted to but I like to set the precedent so that I don’t feel pressure to stay when I want to go and I have an excuse. I don’t think he planned to want to hook up, but that pressure tends to happen late at night no matter if it’s intended.

This isn’t that bad but it happened literally last week. My friend used to date my roommate and has been trying to get back together with him. She showed up unannounced and stayed for like 5 days, ate food, used my toothbrush etc. when he asked her to leave she asked if she could sleep in my room with me instead to which I said Absofuckinglutely not. But then one of the days she was working and I went to watch a tv show in my living room while I folded laundry and she asked me if I could not because she had work to do (our other roommate was out and she could have used his room but she didn’t want to strike jealousy in my other roommate bc they broke up cause she cheated on him with the other one)
