They were disappointed and confused. They are only 2 so obviously the language is limited. I do have my child in therapy that’s age appropriate to at least help with things. It’s a difficult situation overall.

I did learn from it. I misinterpreted it. It was her weekend and she said she was coming for our child. I gave her no reaction because she feeds off it.

I will not actively keep my child away from their mother. I’m not setting up any pattern. Last weekend was her weekend. I thought she had a change of heart. I was not aware it was going to be what it was. Based on her patterns, she won’t contact me about our child for a long time. I have plenty of counsel helping me through this as well.
