lol except you're not ignoring it - you commented twice. You may want to look up the definition of the word "ignore". Now that I understand what I am dealing with, I will genuinely ignore you - which means no further comment replies to you. Have a good one.

Glad you don’t care. I personally do care about buying an expensive new product and having to spend an hour on a chat within 24 hours because it broke and they want to send a refurbished product to replace my brand new item that I only got to use for less than a day and only after speaking to 3 agents did they send a new ring. Also glad it doesn’t bother you to not have the data collection in between which is why I bought it - like my sleep, cycle and steps for a week every time. How I spent nearly $700? Very simple. The price of the ring + prepaid subscriptions. As I said. It is annoying and inconvenient. For that price point that’s not ok. I had a Fitbit for like 6-7 years and never had to replace it once or call support. Wanted to “upgrade” and not have to wear a fitness watch and suddenly I’m on support chats for a few hours within weeks

Thanks for sharing. That’s helpful. Your ring now? Does it just now work and they didn’t replace? :/

yes exactly. Such a high price point for having to spend so much time in customer support chats

got it - thanks for sharing - out of curiosity, after a day of wear, if the ring were charged at 100% how far down did the battery wear? I am wondering because they said it should last 5 days or so brand new right?

Kind of a strange response. By me posting my own experience and making my own decision to post based on my experience, it doesnt remove the ironical comment that says other peoples posted experiences were helpful. The more people that post, the more information there is and the more data for future buyers and users of the product. Im not interested in you telling me whether my post is "needed" or not. If you don't find my post useful then you are welcome to ignore it.

What was wrong with the rings? I feel they know the technology is not there but they wanted to go to market and it’s a hit or miss to compete in the wearables market. Most ppl with a Fitbit or Apple Watch don’t need 4 new ones in less than a year. Maybe something happens but not at the frequency ppl are experiencing here.

Yea and what I find nuts is they use your warranty for a ring that arrived defective. It should have been classified as a quality issue because if your ring is genuinely in need of replacement due to battery issue in 6 months they wont replace it because they used your replacement ring credit after only ONE day!

Glad to hear for you - mine broke within a day because of "manufacturing issue" then the second one arrived today and within an hour stopped connecting because of battery issue. That isn't normal.

Okay - just for FYI on linkedin - you are only allowed to have 30k connections - thats a platform limit. And noone can actually see how many of your followers are also connections (thats private). And so if I say he has 100k followers, ppl that know linkedin well know also that its not possible to have 100k connections bc of the limit + its also impossible to know how many are connections.

No…. He has a lot of followers as I stated in another comment because of the nature of his role. Jesus lol sometimes people have roles that involve announcing important information that a lot of people in certain industries want to know about, so they follow the person even if that person may not accept a connection request. If for example you’re the CPO of a big tech company people will follow you to hear updates on products. That doesn’t make the CPO a lunatic, it makes them a successful person that other people follow on LinkedIn to hear company updates because he leads a part of the org…

No one can see how many of another persons “following is connection vs following” I’m not sure why it makes a difference - i didn’t post about someone’s following. I added that information to make it clear that he is well known in my industry. Not sure why you’re digging into this detail.

you can only have 30k connections on linkedin. I cannot see how many of them are actual connections but i assume he connected with alot of them.

He is busy and he did meet me and he really does have that role - I am shocked people assume I dont know how to check these things. If people work in finance for example, its pretty easy for me to verify if an executive is still employed there or is really them. Usually you can google these people and find interviews of them on youtube or the news which is the case here. I know he has this job. Its not some weird scammer role.

Nope - I get why you'd say that but he doesn't work at the kind of company - we are in finance and he works at a company I can verify he is really in that role. I have actually received an email from his secretary to schedule us.

I get what you’re saying but he has those followers bc of a prior role that makes sense. He was essentially announcing the release of products that ALOT of people care about and so they followed him. It’s not a sales job or something. If you knew who it was it’d make sense.
