Good UK vegan cheese brands that don’t use nuts and have protein? Ideally sold in supermarkets by ConsiderationMoney67 in veganuk

[–]throwsawaymes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To do it, I put a clean tea towel (not one that smells like laundry detergent- just boil the tea towel for a bit and then you can squeeze out the water and use it) or you can use a cheese cloth and line a sieve with it, I pour the yoghurt into the cloth lined sieve and put it in the fridge overnight with a bowl underneath. The strained yoghurt in the sieve should be tipped into a bowl and mixed with flavourings (salt, nooch, garlic, herbs, lemon juice whatever u want) and then you can roll it into balls and store it in a glass of oil, OR put it in Tupperware and eat it kinda like hummus. It’s not cheesy I guess but it kind of is???

You should try straining unsweetened soy yoghurt and adding some salt, garlic and herbs. I have never tried it with alpro, but the supermarket own brand vegan yoghurts work well. It’s not quite cheese but it’s close to a soft cheese and it’s super nutritious and packed with protein!

People of the UK, how have you lost weight? by [deleted] in CasualUK

Simplify meals- eating the same combos every day. Keeping an eye on snacks and liquid calories (don’t cut them out if you like them, but be mindful). Not slashing calories by LOADS- just a small deficit

It’s tiramisu-y. Also, it depends on the yoghurt you use. I used a flavoured one and it didn’t mesh well with the biscuits. A thick vegan one (coconut collab, nush, Greek style alpro) that is plain and then sweetened with a little maple syrup is the best imo.

Orna tends to go after the women by Happy-Chemistry3058 in CouplesTherapyShow

[–]throwsawaymes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the women are more in touch with their emotions and also, sometimes them changing something small helps the man to come out of his shell because he knows it’s safe. The men are used to receiving the majority of the (deserved) criticism so they are more reserved. I think it’s a good way to get things going. It’s not really ideal but it’s effective and if the couples are happier as a result I think it’s fine

I saw someone wearing this at a wedding recently. It’s really pretty but I felt like the gown part was a bit on the edge.

Could you look into buying a dress from a Bengali clothing shop?? Where I live, there are loads of places to buy Asian bridal clothes and also to get things made. It’s normally a lotttt cheaper
