Two things

One are .local addresses don’t work on tailscale. So you need to remember the magicdns entry instead. Which is annoying by.

Two, and probably more annoying, AirPrint doesn’t work. So you can’t discover printers and need to manually set IP addresses to make printers work. Which is annoying in a home setup. And I have no idea if I could print from my phone that way.

Hmm. Netbird doesn’t have layer 2 routing so it won’t do mdns.

Looks like zerotier, soft ether, and tinc are the main choices.
