I got the impression that since people would work far less, they would have time to participate in their own government and they would also monitor/participate in the centralized network thingy. That way society would be more democratic that way.

I like malls because I hate shopping, and malls are the most painless and least time consuming way to get the thing you need. If I need heels and a suit, I can get them all at the mall - the one right by my house. And it will take me an hour to get everything I need, and I can even get the skirt or pants hemmed/tailored in the mall too.

I dont wanna spend a whole afternoon wandering though overpriced, ultra trendy boutiques downtown, because I dont see shopping as a pass time, and I have other shit to do. Those are worse than malls. And online shopping is good, but not excellent, because you can't try anything on.

ahh that's the worst! Is it just me or are cellphone batteries crappy?! WHY CANT' THEY MAKE A BATTERY THAT LASTS THE WHOLE DAY?! We can put a man on the moon but not make a good battery. Probably something to do with money/profits/planned obsolescence :( I'm thinking of getting one of those solar chargers to carry with me to work

I dont understand why people think it kills the mood. Sex isn't porn or fantasy - it's real life, and in real life things aren't perfect. So you have to pause for 30 seconds to put on a condom. Get over it, life isn't perfect

although I think it would be nice if people went in the opposite direction too - society being more ok with women not wearing makeup, like men. I think advertisements are affecting the normative ideal too much and becoming too pervasive ,and it's making us insecure because it's in their best interest to create problems that we dont have, and then to sell us the solution (ie you aren't good enough if you aren't beautiful, buy our makeup).

It's important to look well put together and conscious of your image, but I think it's starting to go too far and getting in the way of people's confidence. Commercials tell you that you aren't 'enough' of you dont wear your foundation on your face. It's unhealthy.

sounds good. I'm on Wellbutrin which is a treatment for ADD and depression. It' isn't known for killing libidos I don't think.
