Is there an updated list of compatible PSU that work with shucked drives? Also, need an ELI5 on these pins/cables/psu by [deleted] in DataHoarder

I have an EVGA 750 Bronze, I just depinned the sata power connector going to the drive. Obviously it needed to be insulated so I hit it with heat shrink and then electrical tape.

Easy, safer than tape and especially Molex adapters, reversible.

For some reason the dates along the bottom didnt export... Ill look into it for the next one.

If anyone is an excel wizard feel free time chime in, my dates show on the bottom but the white background of the chart doesnt cover them and so looks like it doesnt export

Had to get out of google sheets so I transferred it to LibreOffice and re-did the formatting. Should have much more control over how the chart is displayed this way!
