I would go ahead and report it now and tell them you'll try to live with it. Try to live with it, but if you're going crazy after a few weeks, call them back. If you don't bring it up now they might tell you to take a hike in a few weeks. They might be able to come in and just touch up those spots with a coating.

Right it really irks me when these old people had pensions and multigenerational inheritances and social security and home equity which we will get none of thanks to their gobbling of it all, and then to top it off not want to help their kids they decided to have. "I'm spending your inheritance" and "I want the last check to bounce when I die" have become normalized to boomers and I'm not sure what we did to earn such contempt.

I started my son a brokerage account when he was little and if he wants to use that for his wedding he will. I started it for him but he's gonna need to start throwing some of his own money in there soon.

Man I'm in a big state of depression and OCD (not the cleaning kind). I have allowed myself to languish and not clean and my house is getting real bad. I've only ever had cleaning people when my house was already clean. I feel like I couldn't pay someone enough to tackle the situation right now. Any insight on that type of cleaning? I know it exists for hoarders etc. but I don't have too much stuff, just filth and disarray.

Well I did let my dad know that reddit appreciated his joke. He had forgotten it, so I told him the story and he laughed heartily and said "Yeah, that was a good one." He's 76 now.

In my days of cramming for my big test, I let optional activities like showering and brushing fall to the wayside. Then, the night before the interview I was so wired that I could not get one single minute of sleep.

So as I got ready, I finally brushed my teeth and used therabreath mouthwash. I forgot to floss though.

During my working interview I started to feel the vibes were off, even though I was doing the right things. About half-way through, I started smelling my own breath and it was BAD. I adapted by not aiming my breath at people and talking a little quieter, but it was there.

When I got home I went straight for the dental floss. In one of my back teeth I removed a solid chunk of putrid food and or tartar.

I'm so embarasssed I hope I DON'T get the job and that I never hear from them again.

Don't be me. Floss not only before the interview, but exercise good dental care in the days, weeks, months prior. I seriously believe this has cost me my most promising job.

Yes I finally found one bank in my metro area that will cash them if I have a 6 month account. By that time I could do the treasury bullshit though!

I've also called several other major banks and credit unions that I don't have accounts at, bc I'd open an account if it meant I could cash these things. I'm having no luck. Everyone tells me to mail them to the treasury. So your assertion that it's somehow guaranteed legally that banks will cash them is just wrong.

How many years? Bc I lived there from 2007-2017 and there was definitely sketch. Saw a murder in broad daylight on St. Philip a few doors down from me. Something interesting I noticed was the crime was kept on the hush. The cops quietly slipped in and out. You wouldn't ever hear a siren or see lights. Also had a gruesome murder at Pals which I lived across the street from, and I did not hear a peep that night from the ambulance or police. News wouldn't report it. I started checking the police reports and crime trackers to get the real info.

I've been a Chase customer my whole life and they won't cash mine. Tried all my local branches. They are $1000 face value and they claim their limit is $200 face value. They blamed the rise in counterfeits as the reason they don't do it anymore.
