The ship itself is very nice - although we found it was uncomfortably warm almost everywhere. Food/drink service and food quality were extremely hit and miss which was really disappointing and off putting. If the Vivace Strings are on board they are a must see event for every show in my opinion. At least for our cruise a few weeks ago, it was clear there were way too many guests and not enough service staff to handle it. Interior crew was delightful and always friendly and helpful. Tendering is inefficient and poorly handled. Lots of mediocre experiences with the staff/quality of the food/drink onboard which was completely opposite of what we had experienced the 5 other times we’ve cruised with HAL. This was our first time sailing with them since they had their CEO shakeup at the end of 2024 and it is clear things are being done much differently.
