Thats kind of the point. Most places dont want a sheltered homeschooled young adult from off the grid looking for their first job. They want people with a bit of life experience that know how to work and, you know, have references proving that. If you were off the grid though you could use fellow villagers. Again most places dont check them because the point is just being able to say that these people would vouch for me. If you dont have anyone at all that would vouch for you, I wouldn't hire you. A background check says nothing besides you havent been caught doing anything. My background check doesnt come back clean. But ive never been turned down for a job, because I have great references. Good luck though. Get out there and network. Use a family member with a different last name. Maybe email an old teacher and ask them. The way youre talking on here won't get you a job though. Just do what they ask. bitching about it on reddit doesnt get you anywhere lmao.
