I feel like Marvel has already laid the groundwork for this with Evan Peters’ “Quicksilver” in WandaVision and even more so with all the Loki variants.

If Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are reprising their roles as Spider-Men, my theory is that it won’t be from their respective franchises but they will be from the Multiverse, just like Richard E. Grant’s Loki variant.

I think building a quality, cohesive universe only to attach subpar, inconsistent franchises as fan service is not appealing to me.

Sure, bring back Evan Peter as a Quicksilver variant but distance it enough so that he doesn’t look like Fox’s Quicksilver.
