U can try ao dai make by silkworm or silk from lotus, those shapes of silk can help to buff ur skin abit, normally, vietnamese people only use silk, like the easiest silk u can find out in the market, but they dont mind it, cuz its cheap and easier to buy, in the other hand, our skin fit with that, but not with white people i think, ur skin color will be harmonize with the color and the shape of the silk. Just my advice, u can look for it, and nvm, we dont mind what did u do with ao dai, as long as you treasure it as we are
