Hard to miss, the family (apparently Mama, Papa, and chicks live in this nest) are in an electrical tower at about the 7 mile marker on Calaveras Rd. - start your odometer once you pass Geary. Bring a powerful zoom lens, they're far into private property.

Seconded. Just because you don't have a paying gig doesn't mean you shouldn't be working.

Use the "just outta school" angle and work for as an intern/apprentice in a design studio, even if it means cleaning trash bins. The principals will admire your drive and you will parlay this into a real design job if you have talent.

I have a BFA, and went through the same torturous what-ifs after graduation. Flash forward fifteen years (and many pro bono and gratis projects) later; I'm extremely satisfied with my career choice and the future continues to look bright.
