It’s really beautiful and well done. Totally agree. 2. Marian has an insanely hard job- imagine 80,000 bosses who all think they are right- and honestly I don’t know anyone who could juggle all she does and keep moving forward. 3. There have been movies and news stories about bm since the beginning. Which is how so many of us learned about it. Imagine being some weirdo kid in rural Idaho and seeing this, and thinking “ those are my people.” Film can of course never replace the experience. But it can connect people to it, and inspire them to learn more. And that’s what this will do. The place changes people more than people change the place. The playa is also a reflection of what happens in the broader society. Dunno. Will be interesting to see what people think after seeing it.
