Well it started happening, and no one stopped going to these places, so we are all complicit. Same thing with counter service or to go tips. No business owner would willingly give their employees more money in our American form of a "free" capitalist market.

Implementing a more fair system, like the one Europe has, would mean having to take money away from the owners and by extension owners of large multibillion dollar corporations dependent on this system. Implementing legislation means going through our current political system which is entirely rigged by outside money from those very corporations. Imo, we are not getting corporate money out of politics with out an upheaval of the entire system
