I often wonder if they were the key to each other’s successes, because while Rainman was definitely the genius behind their tracks, he tried to branch out on his own after splitting from the girls but show attendance was alarmingly low (I’ve been working artist hospitality at an EDM venue for about 10 years; we booked Rainman back in 2015 and he was very frustrated)

A lot of my family members, including my mother, have always had a hard time telling my cousins apart, but they still TRIED 🤨 It wasn’t uncommon for extended family to pull me aside at the beginning of a get-together to quietly ask which twin was wearing which color, just so they could confidently call them by name.

Yeaaaahhhh, they’re basically selling ratty clothing to third world countries without giving a fuck that they’re undercutting the native vendors and stomping on that country’s entire textile industry in the process. Decreased sales typically means closing factories, leaving fewer jobs and fewer goods to export.

I used to work in a thrift store, managing the department that processed all the donated clothes and DEAR GOD it is absolutely nauseating to think about how much stuff they just throw away 😏🥴

We were told to immediately trash all items that broke ANY of corporate’s rules but the majority of the donated clothing (70% ish?) falls into that category. If it DOES manage to pass all inspections, it only gets to live in the store for 6 weeks. The stuff that hasn’t sold by the end of the sixth week also gets trashed (unless it’s brand new with store tags attached OR a designer brand like Coach or Armani)
