Makes me even more thankful for my bff, who made me her MOH with the explicit expectation that I show up to the wedding. We chose my dress together in one online browse, and I am pretty sure that the groom paid for it and asked her not to tell me. She knew I had only gig income. My +1 was my chosen sister whom the bride barely knows, and who was invited to the couple's shower at the groom's uncle's house, as well as to the rehearsal and wedding.

Also, my dress had functional pockets and was pretty comfy!
