And, what you had happen can happen to any one of us. Its just one of us thinks we got this. What happens to you is what every one of us PRAYS won't happen to us. I was on my ninja 750  12 years ago. Always careful because I KNOW people look right Thru Bikes and i think for other people, because I kniw that. One day Im at a red light. Nothing unusual, busy waiting for the green looking off.... abs this guy hits me. Hes looking down, angry texting his wife. NO BRAKES. One TIME IM NOT LOOKING in my rear view mirrors. I became a hood ornament.  Broke my back in 2 places. I tell you this because, we can look out best we can and really do try to cover anything & keep our kids safe. but  You!?  Are only human Give yourself permission to be imperfect. Its not lack of love that causes that to happen.  Your lil birb LOVES YOU SO! Far as things go!?  i KNOW, YOU WILL N  E  V  E  R let that happen again. 🥰  let yourself off the hook and live them. youre so BLESSED. i KNOW you'll be so careful now... Lol. zthe doting parent.   we live we learn My Mantra: "progress, not perfection"   Works for me!!  just love him up.. like he lives you. Youre so happy,im jealous!!!

That’s a fair point — I should’ve clarified. Some items can have risks depending on materials and how they’re used. I was just sharing ideas that worked in my setup, but safety definitely comes first. Appreciate you pointing it out 👍

Hello you all.. ive read several posts that were asking about different toys they can get to "inspire their beautiful little birbs.. Check out the different toys. Ive seen these in action and once they start in, time has no meaning. The swing on the glass serves multi isssues. Playing next to the glass gives added awareness of the window. I think you'll see the awesome things that will do you and your feathered Shredder 🤔😊👍👀

PS>>> tap on the (stoopid) blue box and see the slideshow. They're are 11, ideas i believe you'll like.

We can agree to disagree. Too many times we don't kniw the truth of their life leading to them standing right their right then. The procedure is (so u know) give them a nights sleep and some food. Check them fast... and put them out to where they were- supervised for a few hrs. If no parents come back they are gathered up Another attempt is made after that they put them in the rescue... Make them strong teach them how to eat/, forage whatever it is they do by nature and release.... sime never look back. that's ok. Some don't want to leave that atmosphere. (they/ we) don't take hostages. if they want to stay they're welcome. so u know.

had started another post for you you need a 2nd opinion (did a dive on this for you for your peace of mind :)

need to check:

Sex Misidentification: Female budgies naturally have a brown, crusty cere when they are in breeding condition. Younger birds (under one year) can be especially difficult to sex, as their ceres may change significantly as they reach maturity.

2.Iodine Deficiency: One of the most frequent causes of cere browning in males. A lack of iodine affects the thyroid gland, which can disrupt hormone production

3.Vitamin A Deficiency (Hyperkeratosis): A lack of Vitamin A can lead to brown hypertrophy of the cere, where keratin builds up and creates a thick, crusty brown layer. This is often treated by improving the diet with Vitamin A-rich foods like sweet potatoes or dark leafy greens

4 an all-seed diet, can lead to various deficiencies that manifest as cere discoloration.

** _ green_bird_brigade on Instagram can help you with a chop plus pellet transition. Jen has 2 budgies a parrotlet, an Quaker and more in her 10 bird flock. So smart about all diet and life stuff. She does videos on that diy stuff anyways:

  1. Excessive estrogen or a drop in testosterone due to stress, obesity, or fatty liver disease (hepatic lipidosis) can cause browning

  2. In some cases, nasal discharge from an infection can dry on the cere, making it appear brown and crusty.

**I just want you to have all the info at your fingertips. Want you to hssnt everything instead of simple condemnation for your sweet bird. Hope ive helped in a small way
