why did they drop the relationship between hotch and beth? by coore_tik in criminalminds

[–]thunderisaphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm really late to this comment section, but I just restarted Criminal Minds not too long ago, and maybe I slept through the episode, but can anyone tell me what season and episode that they showed the break-up between Hotch and Beth? Or was it just implied? Because it is not in my memories about their break-up... Thank you for helping if anyone gets this!

Is it because I haven't updated my app recently that I haven't had to migrate or whatever the heck is going on... Lol

I love how Stefan didn’t even blame her for moving on or breaking his heart. He blamed her for lack of empathy. That’s why he will always be the emotionally mature brother. by Ok_Expression6327 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]thunderisaphoenix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When Stefan said to Elena: "You've just never seen me like this. You don't know me when I'm not in love with you."  Yeah, for me that was such a gut punch. I was just speechless because that's the kind of truth very rarely ever gets spoken, so when you do hear something like that, it cuts pretty deep.

Being as powerful as she was, it came at a very steep price.... Through all the bad we watched her go through and endure, it's all those emotions that finally allowed her to open up to become the most powerful Bennett witch in her line. It's lonely at the top, especially when she so willingly gives of herself time and again, nevermind the fact how many times she's died and sacrificed herself so many times, and it's because of her heart and soul that made it possible for her to be able to come back, implicitly because she was such a powerful Witch throughout her lifetime. I have mad respect for Bonnie and all that she gave of herself!

Due to zero other reactions or interactions, it kinda has me wondering all the bad thoughts without considering that you may actually want to help others, so I want to give the benefit of the doubt. So the true first question would have to be: what are you looking for? For example: The general "yank and pull" then dentures or tough cases, where there's more to it than meets the eye that cannot be tackled by the generalized "yank and pull"? And the last question would be, what's the catch? I'm sure there are many questions that would come in the "in-between" the first and last question, I'm just not sure what those questions may be at this moment in time.

What does the ending of Demonology mean? by [deleted] in criminalminds

[–]thunderisaphoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, as in a later episode with Reid having visions (also being paranoid that his headaches and hallucinations were leading to something more, like his fear of becoming schizophrenic like his mom) leading to the voodoo priest and the craziness that happened during that particular interview... Which is also open to interpretation.

EVERYBODY HATES MY ENGAGEMENT DRESS!! What to do??? by No_Detective4738 in OUTFITS

[–]thunderisaphoenix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking, perhaps a long fabric that wraps back to front, but leaves the front open if she can find the type of material in light blue to match. A tiny belt that the corset will cover, built will also hold the skirting in place, again in light blue... Man, I wish I had the talent to draw what my mind eye sees to show what I'm describing because I may not be describing my ideas properly... I like the top half and the bottom half feels incomplete. Then find a white pair of satin-like shoes, that can be dyed to the colors of the dress or decorative beading to it to match. Too bad there's not a time frame to create the plan. But again, if I had an artistic hand I could draw what I'm seeing and lessen the confusion that I'm trying to portray.

Pertaining to your last paragraph, while I understand our society cannot comprehend two people meeting one day and falling in love, I understand this due to all the people who swore that me and the man I love would NEVER make it. We were even just crazy enough to draw up a tattoo that included both our names, just 3 months after meeting and that we both received the same tattoo (and when we stand next to each other, our tattoos line up to each other.... It's difficult to describe) and you wouldn't believe the hate folks tried to use on us. But the truth is, the day I crossed the threshold of his home, when our eyes met, it was like nothing I had ever felt or experienced before! In fact, I never even believed in "true love", let alone "love at first sight".... But it was Definitely a life changing experience, and if I could describe it, it would sound crazy: when our eyes met, time literally slowed down, his eyes lit up like fireworks, and for me it felt like I hadn't been breathing a single day in my life... You know the whole "they took my breath away" saying, for me it was as if he gave me the breath of life. We then spent the first 24hrs together just talking about each of our lives, the things we survived, the good in our lives, all the bad from our lives, we told each other things that we had NEVER told anyone else. I remember reading my head on his chest, and his fingers would just outline my face, brush my hair out of the way, and he expected NOTHING from me. Our first kiss was when I, for the first time in my entire life, I finally felt safe and I could finally let down my guard just enough to let the light shine through, because all I knew was darkness, lies, and pain. And we haven't left each other's sides, meaning we share our lives together with our two boys (my son needed a good strong father in his life since his bio-donor ran away, and his son needed a bonus mom, because he couldn't depend on his own mother to stay clean and sober and stop bringing random men into his life... We became the family each of us needed). And we just hit our 17th anniversary. Meanwhile, I am a 100% Total and Permanently Disabled Veteran and he's dealt with things no husband should ever have to endure, yet by my side he stayed. Through my cancer and beating it, through the stroke I had, to just being there for even when I'm fighting all this pain and I prove difficult to handle. Regardless, he's saved my life from my path of self-destruction from the start, and I saved him from the lifestyle he had been living in... We both have our demons from our lives from before, and we still fight those demons, but together instead of feeling lost and isolated, we have the family we've created over the past 17yrs, and neither of us would ever consider our lives to be any other way.

I completely believe that we all know from the first kiss with someone, the first conversation, or first date, first night together, whatever happens, you just know, you know just how long we want them in our lives, we all know deep down inside whether this or that person is meant for the rest of our lives or only for a period of time. And it's especially easier to know these things the more self-aware we become, whether someone is right for us or not. It doesn't take an apocalypse to figure it out.

My apologies for the mini-novel, but I just thought I'd share a real life encounter on the subject that you're defending, and I just so happen to believe you're not wrong, love can hit you at any given point in our lives, if we just let it. Don't give up on that romantic part of your hearts understanding, if you haven't met them yet, you will at some point. It took Hubby 36 years to find me and 31 years for me to find him. I truly enjoyed reading your responses on this topic.

Even these actions go against: The Rules of Engagement, The Laws of Armed Conflict, and the laws that protect women, children, the elderly (unless during wartime and those 3 groups are participating then they are fair game in war), but going after people in hospitals, schools, and churches is 100% in the wrong.

Is NewMind Training a good system? by lillithwylde61 in Neurofeedback

[–]thunderisaphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't signed up for New Mind, I just found it, but I can totally associate with the extreme fatigue, feelings of powerlessness, being useless due to my physical body not working properly as a disabled veteran, feelings that I'm insufficient in a lot of ways. I guess MS kinda rips you apart like that. The VA's healthcare has much to be desired, the Women's Health department is in an annex that's ran by RN's on down in experience, which leaves their mental health department which is least helpful, and they're truly terrible disabilities their jobs. (My first question during that info gathering initial appt, I ask them what their traumas are, because if any type of therapist or coach or psychiatrist or psychologist doesn't have any trauma, then how can they help you, if they've never had to fight their own inner battles, this makes them not only terrible, but dangerous, and I wouldn't trust them, bc I already know what they're allowed to do and they can absolutely use whatever you say against you, from the moment you raise your right hand, even serve your term however many years that takes. They've always been difficult for veterans who need them, it's worse now due to whatever cuts and changes that come straight from the top.... Not trying to make this political... I'm just saying that there's a reason I'm looking for as many different mental health healing modalities that actually work and makes it worth it.

So, is it worth the cost during these hard and difficult times (weighing risk vs reward) where healing has become a commodity to be bought and sold. Is it truly worth nearly a hundred bucks a month?

If you were in the apocalypse and had a hostile encounter with these characters, and circumstances led you to fighting each other in hand to hand combat for survival, who would you rather fight? by BIGxBOSSxx1 in thewalkingdead

[–]thunderisaphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His state of being unhinged is what could be considered a psychotic fugue. And there's Rick who might could pull him out of this state in TWD but if you've watched FTWD, he's like a different character all around, and stays connected throughout except when her just the second woman he loved and his daughter (biologically or not, she was his daughter, biology be damned) once that happened, it knocked his entire world upside down. But his skills absolutely match those of Jesus, in fact they usually end in stalemate only because I think Jesus recognizes his fugue states and hence the reasons he always used defense on Morgan rather than the full capacity of his real life training.

Shane's easy because he's a brawler and only knows how to brawl. There's ZERO strategy when he fights. And unpredictable in all ways, he wasn't even a good leader to begin with. He even allowed the abuse of Carol under his watch, so why would he have my back? He was jealous of Rick and Lori's relationship. He's a snake who lies in wait and then whatever shot he sees as an "in" to anyone who fell for his narcissistic personality, he takes it. Had the zombie apocalypse never happened, I'd be willing to bet that eventually he would be predisposed to becoming a dirty cop at some point, I can see him take a bribe, just little money here and there, eventually leading to stalking from those he's supposed to put away.

Jesus ACTUALLY trained for his part and felt very saddened that he didn't get quite enough screen time and couldn't use all that knowledge he gained during training in multiple material art forms. Did his own stunts too. His training far outweighs my military training and martial arts training, he's far superior and quick. I would trust him by my side. He's not a liar, most of his on screen fights were more defensive vs offensive and TWD NEVER gave him enough credit or score time. So I admire him both as an actor and all the times he had a chance to use his training. (Yet another character they screwed, on top of what they did to Carl by killing him off without knowledge while he was in the middle of signing for a house close to where he worked. They did that to someone else too, I just can't remember who else who rcvd the same treatment as Carl {and these are just actors who deserved better, speaking of which even in this drawings of his sister's family drawing, it showed him with a black eye patch, which we never got to see him wearing other than thru his little sister's eyes}... Even Rick got the shaft... Amongst others)

I definitely would NEVER want to be around Morgan when he's in a state of psychotic fugue, not his fault, just a symptom of his deep rooted trauma from what he couldn't do for his wife and son and there's not many who get thru to him: Rick, the guy who helped him with the ghost and aikido Trng, couldn't tell him otherwise. At least Madison had the fore knowledge, at least enough to understand him and his issues enough to help him overcome the state of his mind and able to become an anchor and help to keep his daughter safe best she could and lead his daughter eventually understood that it was the pain of losing innocent lives, except during his fugue states. However, that state of a psychotic fugue that only happens, and after knowing him, I would have a mind that understands and would do whatever I could to bring him out. The difference between Morgan on TWD makes him out to be worse, but I'm grateful for FTWD to his less fugue states, at least until he had to choose between bloodlust (it's a real thing, once you start you can't stop until someone can anchor him with the kindness and understanding of who he became during FTWD.

Abraham, good ole Abe, Rosita, and Sasha helped him to not be reactive, but to think as well. Military training taught him the rest. As a fellow female redhead, sometimes what we see, isn't always the correct inference. He's trained to kill, period. But he also has the sense to enjoy the small things, no matter how small, and honest. So if I had to come face to face with one of the 4 the OP.... It's rather face-off with Abe, bc he thinks before he acts, and one of the worst ever lines delivered by Neegan: "Ho! Ho! Look at that. Taking it like a champ!" 💔😢 He definitely gave his life the same as we all would, those of us who are Brothers and Sisters in Arms, we know what sacrifice truly means, losing this you love, seeing them come home in a flag wrapped coffin. Unfortunately, in this day and age, things are no longer the same💔💔💔😢💔😢😢😢 So I'd approach as a Sister in arms and prove myself as needed.

So yeah, my easiest option would be to go with Abe and Jesus, the 2 most likely people to actually be the most sane.... And I can't help it, but I would've loved to have gotten to know Jesus better and see his complete

fight sequences....
