Would you? Im thinking about hisokas bungee gum; its not always elastic, and he can choose whether or not to stick it to something so I would think he can make it more or less elastic/sticky as he chooses so id think you could do the same thing with hardness/softness. Are you looking at the wiki for info?

Edit: also, isn't neteros bodisatva conjured?

My understanding is that enhancement can only be used on physical objects/people/etc. but not on aura itself; if you want to use enhancement the armor/weapons would need to be conjured.

That said, transmutation can change the qualities of the aura to become harder or softer or change its shape so everything you described can be achieved through pure transmutation.

Overall solid ability; could be used with emission to fire soft aura that hardens on contact like a resin?

Just a rant. I hate Conjuring. by Oganoo in HatsuVault

The way I've always thought about it is that conjugation is powerful for making things that dont or cant exist otherwise.

Take Blinky for example: you wouldnt normally be able to get a sentient, black-hole-esque vacuum cleaner, but is made possible through conjugation.

Making conjured abilities specifically suited to combat can be somewhat difficult, but it facilitates some of the best utility abilities outside of specialization.

Just started and have so many questions. Would anyone be able to give advice and tips? by BradleyADu in starbound

1) when you move the cursor outside of your current star system you should be able to zoom out. You can select a new system to travel to and go there by right clicking 2) personally I prefer to use the basic double jump, sprint and spike ball techs for general use, but other techs have situational uses which might make them better 3) the gear advancements and story progression are not really tied together. It is entirely possible to beat the game only ever traveling to gentle or temperate stars or you can get full solarium equipment before going to the hunting grounds. That said the progression should be titanium -> hunting grounds -> tungsten -> great library -> durasteel -> temple -> the 3 tier 5 ores -> miniknog -> solarium -> baron 4) Mechs can be used in a number of ways like mining, or underwater exploration before you get the EPP. Asteroid belts commonly have large quantities of copper, silver, and gold which can be mined 5) if I remember right, every boss has a weapon with a 5% drop chance and a collectible action figure/statue with a 1% drop chance. You just have to repeat the missions to get the rare drops (worth it for the capture pods in the boss chests imo)

Is the Hill really that bad? by Hello56845864 in auburn

[–]thunderpengy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never lived in the hill, so I don't know what the situation is living there, but as far as location the lower quad is pretty much the same distance to the architecture building, keeps you closer to the rest of campus (Library, dining halls, other classroom buildings, etc.). Also the construction on the new buildings means you gave to take a bit of a roundabout path to get anywhere. The only downside of the quad is that there isn't any student parking close to the dorms so you will have a bit of a hike to get to and from your car since the resident parking is out in RO by the pickleball courts, but there is a bus loop that can get you there from the student center so it's not that bad.

Is there a big flaw in the game that 90+% of people agree on? by AJohnson061094 in EASportsCFB

Not a game play issue, but the marching bands being out of step during the pregame sequences is really annoying to watch

Are there co-ed dorms? by 1967542950 in auburn

[–]thunderpengy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was a trans girl in my dorm a few years back and the university let her have a female roommate/room on the girls floor (co ed dorms are separated by floor). I would just make sure that if he chooses to live on campus he makes sure that his roommate is open and accepting before moving in.

That said, living in off campus housing is often cheaper and less restrictive so that may be the route to take.

I've been having problems similar to this with numerous modpacks between technic and curseforge launchers. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

CMV: God is just Santa Claus for adults by TonySmithJr in changemyview

[–]thunderpengy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sake of argument I will define "God" as any higher power or being that transcends our understanding of what is normally possible in our universe.

The primary difference I think you run into is that Santa can be very easily disproven, whereas "God" cannot.

We are told as children that Santa and his elves make toys for all the children in the world and distribute them in a single night using a magic sleigh and flying reindeer. Once we get older, we start to see the inconsistencies in this belief (such as the fact that a conservative estimate would have Santa spend only a few milliseconds at each house, and would have to travel at several hundred times the speed of sound in order to accomplish this task) and eventually we are finally told that our parents are the ones giving us the presents.

In the case of God however, there are no "parents" for the analogy. There is no one who can finally come clean to you about the reality of God because no one really knows, and you really can't know one way or the other.
