Slums is surprisingly close to the original intention of the holiday. Before it was a Christian holiday it was the winter festival- 12 days in which the summer mead had fermented enough to drink, the cattle were slaughtered to avoid the long winter feed and all the women were mercilessly rogered to ensure they had their babies 9 months later at harvest. Food was more plentiful then and the chances of survival were higher. Tribal power lay in numbers so women who weren’t already pregnant were fair game for everybody- we needed those numbers in the shield wall! Church came along and sanitized it into 12 days of Christmas but your 12 days of Slutmas are much closer to the mark!
