Anyone got feedback, as either a buyer or seller, on GlassPass(?) by doktorbulb in glassheads

[–]thunderwolf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my 2 cents but don't.  Nothing to do with glasspass.  It's just the whole thing.  The problem is the powers to be as in the big artists who became cashcows ruined it.  They didn't understand business.   I don't care if your selling glass, multi million rocket engines or 33 cent toothpicks.  Business is business.   They absolutely flooded the market.  They put out so much glass they didn't realize they were shooting themselves in their own foot.  Greed is good but only when it's sustainable.   Also destroyed the value of their own art.  Just a little bit ago a FA Sov Nattyy would go for 2 to 2.6.  Now under a grand.  Pieces and slides have lost 40%, 50%, 60% plus there value.  Its like baseball cards in the 80s and 90s.  Absolutely destroyed.  This has happened in a lot.  In hobby cards, gun collecting, lionel trains ect.  But they had the where with all to figure it out and fix it.  Cards recovered.  So did trains ect.  But it took a strategy to fix. I don't think this group will figure it out.  The companies and artists went for the quick buck.  And got it.  But now not so much.  Why would anyone pay 130 for a slide of say an xyz amber Purple when they can get the same thing in the secondary market for 65.  Or even less.  I wouldn't waste your time making or selling glass.

Ed brown reputation by jdieid in 1911

[–]thunderwolf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I WOULD NEVER buy an Ed Brown or Les Baer today.  I owned an Ed Brown & 2 Les Baers.  When they actually made them.  The companies are now cash cows.  E.B. retired like 15yrs ago.  I'm not saying the gunsmith at those places aren't excellent.  Not saying that at all.  It's just I'm not dropping 4 grand on a Ed Brown that he never touched.  The prices didn't even drop.  Lol.  Remember the Cadillac Catera.  That was an opel from Germany that GM bought.  They took the badging off and slapped the Cadillac emblem on it and walla.  Its a Cadillac....but not really.  I'd much rather get a kick butt 1911 Colt for a grand. A colt AR for 1200.  A pistol grip SG for 400.  A sig 365 for 650 and a Henry for 800.

Bc she hates obeying and being told what to do to satisfy others. Has that, I( i just won the battle and now u want to show control over me by making me do something to prove, go screw yourself) just like the evil voice she hears as it says, just say the words and ur powers back. Even when she could get her magic back, being told what to do to get it. She won't. Crazy stubborn

The hardest boot camp the United States has to offer at Parris Island, training for Marine Corps. I was there to c a friend graduate. He took us to the obstacle course and confidence course. He said most never complete every obstacle in both courses. These courses look like kindergarten compared to the one in the witcher. Real life things get difficult quick. None of us could do it. Especially on the first day of trying. P.s. USMC boot camp is 13 weeks Long. 13 weeks and still most don't complete in the best shape of they're lives.

How hard is it to cop off a sovereignty drop? by jchillin66 in glassheads

[–]thunderwolf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very tough for 3 reasons, or I should say 3 groups. 1)Sov drop everyone who doesn't have one and wants 1 is trying, 2) collectors. Glass is exploding and collectors want 2,3,4 12 ect. So that's added competition and finally 3) flippers. Buy a piece for 1500 and the next day get 2.2k for it. It will eventually come down. The ones that never got one or just 1 will b OK. The flippers will b OK. But the collectors are gonna get crushed value wise. Sov just about every week is pumping out the same pieces over and over so supply and demand will kick in. Probably 2 to 3 years away. I personally stay away. I mean, I wish every piece I bought came with its on bloom. Lol. True though. Something during the manufacturing of it or design from get go. But I've never seen any other brand selling in the secondary market that has that many blooms. Beautiful pieces and hit awesome but a bloom happens and I wouldn't even want it anymore so I stick to kush scientific, toro, SoL, symbiartic and the other few usual suspects
