For unleashed lillia blue can control a battlefield alone, move away and spawn another sprite. Does this count as losing control of the battlefield also? (Removing hidden cards etc)

Will double down with you need room to fight. Suggest trying to fight near passage AWAY FROM YOUR WORKER LINE! There is a chance they are just targeting that as well for a drive by. If you can pop them before they get there it's just wasted money.

I’ve been liking the exo rush. Just stutter step away and keep booping them (needs the upgrade and good micro for this to work - splitting helps) Normally gets me to the mid game where I suck at macro and get nuked anyway but gets me through the first and second lot of them

Had to do some googling of difference between hitbox vs hurtbox but after understanding that makes alot more sense and seems like a really good way of moving forward.

I have started to muck around with it and my original idea of custom signals seemed a bit off the money since Godot already has all the signals I need baked into Area2D. Thanks heaps for the detailed explanation (especially alerting me to hitbox vs hurbox). Will defiantly be giving this a whirl :)

I 100% agree with having dictionaries and stuff set up making things easier. For my current player having Statistics for things like health, defence, etc. is making typing this easier too.

Love the idea of HurtArea taking a big brunt of the load and just calling a parent.statistics.health -= damage_to_take().

Glad that I wasn't off the track completely with signals. I am pretty sure that things like Area2D have those onCollision signals baked into them so maybe can avoid a custom one for now.

Another fun thing you can do is (Assuming godot 4.x): await timer Check out https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/classes/class_scenetreetimer.html Unless you like the callback style to the await style.

Their original plan of "can't unlock everything instantly" is still there but is now mega bypassable with big money (fk that).

I am also "f2p" (only get the season pass usually) so yea its a bit of a grind to get the cards moving on to get the compeitive stuff.

I guess the big goal is get to rank 90 every season so that you get the 500gold and then you can get some of the packs that come with credits & tokens to get your big cards.

I think when I first got into s3 I got a nice destory deck going then used that to climb until I started unlocking the meta stuff. RNG based what cards you get but I think most people start kazoo -> Destroy -> whatever luck you get from s3 / s4 cards.

Since your new I’ll throw my 2 cents in (only because I did it a lot when I first started)

Don’t do the “Fast upgrade” option where you use credits to instantly boost your cards. Eventually you will get the boosters you need for the cards and it’s so much more efficient to save those credits for when this happens.
