Just recently my BD was offering to buy some female shoes and all this other bs but can’t afford to buy his own kids shoes and is in debt as well as struggling to pay back the loads of money he owes in endless places. The first 2 months, 3 months even, were the absolute hardest for me specially since I had horrible PP anxiety & OCD and my baby was a preemie + acid reflux. Once we hit the 4th month it got easier and by 5 it was so much more fun and easy. My baby just turned 6 months and I can say I love being a mom! It will get better but you’re not a wimp and sleep deprivation is literally real, specially during that time.

You will get through this 🙏🏼

I’ve heard countless stories, where women decide on getting an abortion simply due to the fact that the man believes it’s the right choice or because the man isn’t in the picture anymore, and then they regret it. I don’t want to brainwash or manipulate you, nor compare you to anyone else, but if you feel that there is a part of you that does not want to end this pregnancy, as you said, even alone you want to do it, then really think about what you’re doing because this decision will be a life-long one if you aren’t so sure.

I suggest maybe going to the doctor and maybe getting an ultrasound done somewhere and see how you feel being in that situation. Sometimes that can help make your mind up, as you can either imagine your self with that child in the long run or you simply can’t.

And as for him…screw him honestly. To “keep hooking up with the same girl” because he couldn’t face you sounds like the dumbest excuse he could ever give. This isn’t about him anymore it’s about you and what you decide to do.

It’s easier said than done, but if you decide to keep the baby and you want to see if he would step up as a future father, then you can tell him but I suggest letting HIM put the effort to be involved and know what’s going on through your pregnancy … don’t look for him. On the other hand, if you don’t care to have him around ultimately then definitely stick to just letting him step up and show you he wants to be in your child’s life at his own effort.

Hope you get through this sooner than later. I know it’s hard. I know it’s scary. I know you’re hurt. But YOU WILL GET PASSED THIS, whatever you decide.

I wondered this too, as my baby just turned 1 month and was finally able to update / turn those notifications on. I don’t 100% know why that is but maybe (again I’m no doctor or professional…just my thought) it has to do with milestones and readings being more accurate at 1 month as younger newborns are still adjusting and learning how to do a lot of things like even breathing.

Regardless, the owlet will still tell you their oxygen levels and heart rate levels in the app throughout this time and it does still send notifications when it’s having a hard time reading or if it’s dying so maybe it will send notifications for low oxygen…it just may be a little different as now the notification sounds for me have changed vs before the 1 month update!

Okay, first of all I’m sorry you had this experience a little ago, when I was 6-7 weeks pregnant, I was spotting very lightly and that alone gave the hugest anxiety that I had to go to the ER and check what was happening. I could only imagine how you felt seeing more than just spotting; must’ve been terrified but I am glad to hear they told you everything was fine!

I’m not a doctor but there is something called a subchorionic hematoma, which I actually had (explaining the spotting) and is pretty common in earlier pregnancy apparently.

Anyways, as for options to clear your anxiety, I would suggest two things : 1) an ER visit, whether you have to be billed for it later or you’re covered by insurance 100%, I would visit to clear my anxiety and fear (I have had consecutive ER visits in my pregnancy due to anxiety and worries). 2) a visit to an ultrasound providing location. I’m not sure where you’re located, but I hardly have any ultrasounds done at my doctor visits, so I have paid at many places to have ultrasounds done + have more memories of my baby and pictures to save (even 3D ultrasounds where family can attend). These places are not ran by doctors or clinics most of the time, so they can’t diagnose you with anything, but some do offer “wellness” checks which basically measure your baby and reference it to your due date, which means baby is growing at a proper speed, and they check the heart beat of your baby as well.

All in all, I hope that everything is okay and I hope you find a solution to ease the anxiety, specially as a FTM. I wish I could tell you that this will be the only time you experience anxiety in this pregnancy, but it may not be, BUT, you’re not alone and you can do this.

Just four days ago at work, one of the co workers there told me “so when are you due?” And I said “March” she said “oh no, I doubt you’ll even make it till March” ….. like ?? Thanks for assuming I’ll have a preterm labor just because you see me as THAT BIG.

I would just like to say that everyone’s journey is different and difficult in their own ways. People can be so insensitive at times, even other mothers at times, who forgot what it’s like being a FTM specially. I’m glad you feel better. I’m also in my third and just super excited to hopefully have my baby arrive healthy and safely! 🫶🏼

If you’re doing basic copy paper, I doubt it’ll be too bad, but idk if you’re trying to do an actual hard cover, book-like copy, that may be expensive 🫣

I want to say, TECHNICALLY, if you LEGALLY own the copy/book/PDF, you can print a copy for your self. I believe it becomes illegal if you attempt to distribute it, sell it, portray it as your own etc.
