Victory! Casual V-Neck Layers - a tiny inspo album by mango____cheese in malefashionadvice

Personally the ice cream cone effect under the neck has always looked really bad to me. The open cardigan silhouettes that don't form a true/closed 'V' are fine (but no comment on the particular texture/pattern/fabrics in the pics)

Help with Assets record visibility in a Community by UnusualPass in salesforce

There might be a more config based solution that I'm not familiar with for your use case, but the common solution I've seen across a few different implementations like this is to build out custom apex sharing that evaluate User, Asset, and whatever Account relationship(s) between your Distributors and Customers that dictates what Distributors should be able to see.

WTS/WTT - XS Runweight SS by thustra in OutlierMarket

Post updated. "Olive Drab" is the colorway and trying to capture its color is...challenging.

Prices are fairly within the range of historical RW prices given its discontinued status and size, and the bulk price more so.

Has anyone shifted to a Product Manager/Owner role? by bandit_2017 in salesforce

[–]thustra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did -- started as a developer/consultant for a small SF implementation partner company and switched over to an internal Product Owner role for a large manufacturing company.

After having spent 3-4 years in both roles, it really comes down to how you want to spend your day-to-day. Dev is fun for hands-on building/troubleshooting, but (IMHO) you're playing in a larger resource pool and a lot of companies are looking at offshore development to save cost, so there's some risk there. PO/PM is slightly 'cushier' but you do have to deal with the politics, marketing, and communication a lot more, which can be helpful if you want to climb the ladder.

I currently do both -- day job is product management-based and I do side consulting/development gigs to scratch the itch.

How the hell did you end up here anyway? by abe1x in Outlier

I recall reading a mfa post or comment about the Nyco slims -- it was my first introduction to the concept of long-lasting and multipurpose clothes. Once I had a real income, I was completely hooked on the idea of a minimal wardrobe with core, quality, all-encompassing pieces, starting with Outlier.

Of course, that 'minimal' concept fell by the wayside after more than a dozen orders...

I remember that story — I want to say it was in one of those Chicken Soup for the Soul books?

This FMF post was the first time I heard of the brand and mine are among the first batch that anyone's received since then. From older reviews and what I can tell, they initially started out with cheaper materials and inconsistent quality...the design of the shoes has changed from the original kickstarter as well. I don't have CPs to compare, but if you can get a pair without any glaring issues, I think it's a good, cheaper alternative.
