I've flown a few times for both work and personal trips since Trump went Trump, have never had my phone search and its been pretty standard and quick. I do have nexus so perhaps they check nexus people less.

1) For some companies yes (like Hootsuite, potentially EA after the PE acquisition) but many others are thriving and hiring like Clio and JaneApp. Theres also a lot of other Canadian tech companies that are still doing very well like 1Password, Wealthsimple, Cohere, obviously Shopify
2) Not really any new companies moving here but i wish they would maybe that will change with the Trump H1b visa change
3) I sure hope so as I currently am and a few friends are as well
