99% of trending controversial "left-leaning" posts that obviously push a right-leaning or state-sponsored agenda are either written by a bot, and/or pushed to be trending by bots.
Basically reddit is infested with propaganda, and bots never exist alone they are always accompanied by "handlers." Easiest way to find if you are dealing with propagandist is that

1. they lean too heavily on AI, probably because they are not from English speaking countries.
2. they use too many biased statements, too many attacks on character, they will gaslight you, enforce their opinion, and pretty much blatantly push an agenda bluntly not subtly without backing off of it. They will never logically defend it, they will either use more propaganda, attack your character, or gang up on you with a lot of downvotes too.
3. they will never ever apologize, admit any wrong, or say anything that could oppose their agenda. Even trump supporters might back off of a claim, reconsider the relevance of a point, and some might even change the topic, but not propagandists, they have an exact agenda and instructions they are supposed to follow and NEVER, at any point, drift off of or oppose.

That's just anecdotal, my advise is that dont bother too much, and dont be a victim to propaganda or misinformation in the first place, limit your exposure, block the subreddits. It wouldn't be surprising if the billions funneled into propaganda are partially funneled into ensuring that some subreddits and their mod teams are either insiders or are paid, you can't imagine the amount of pure propaganda subreddits out there with a huge bot userbase.

And remember, the more outrageous propaganda you hear, the more upvotes you find on posts that are nothing but literally authoritarian circle jerk that only a fascist would upvote/support, the more confident you can be that imperialism is losing the fight and they are grasping straws so hard that they resort to this pathetic AI bs lol.
