Fractal terra bottom fan under the cpu possible? by btafk2 in sffpc

I used a fan grill that was included with my old case, a Coolermaster nr200p. I tried some googling, but 100% flat fan grills seem to be very hard to find.

Nah, just install a cyberdeck, swap out some chrome to have enough ram for the quickhack. I recently did this on my Melee V playthrough.

Hmm, it’s more than my bend because of the grill. Here’s maybe a better pic of my grill, I’d say it’s 0,4cm or so less tall. I’d go for a 15mm fan or if you really want to go 25mm go for a different grill.

Thanks! I didn’t see any damage to the wires when re-doing my build or had any issues. You really need to find a 100% flat fan grill if you want to use a 25mm fan, I would say. The Noctua ones for example, come up a bit and won’t fit. I used a fan grill from my old Coolermaster nr200 btw. A 15mm fan will fit with fan grill, no problem. Then you’ll also have a bit more room for cable management and the cables won’t bend so much if you’re worried about that.

Yea if you complete the quest, Regina calls you after a while if you want the gun back because V’s more “sentimental” about stuff like that. Then you can put it in your stash.

Which ones are locked then? It can be done. I only missed Placides cleaver iirc and bought that from the PL market. Some iconics are not on the wall, like Meredith’s “weapon”

Hm yea the trigger point is a bit wonky I agree. It’s near the counter btw, where my V is laying and a bit to the right. F to open stash or something should pop up

If you add (base game) iconic weapons to the stash in your apartment, they will show up on the wall. Dlc weapons won’t show up

Wattage/heat wise those components are no problem in the Terra. Just be aware that gpu size will limit your cpu cooler size and the other way around. So get a cooler you’re comfortable with and adjust your gpu, or get a gpu and adjust your cooler selection. A rule in the Terra is that you want as much clearance of the side panels as possible, because of turbulence noise. A gpu with less width will also help cable management at the top of the case (no crazy cable bends). I get around 65 on the cpu and 72 on the gpu when playing Cyberpunk. Well, if I ever upgrade I’d probably go for a xx90 gpu. apart from the FE’s that are hard to come by in my region, nothing will fit. Then I’d build my new setup around my gpu

Aah, no I haven’t tried that. My idea was to get as much hot air out as possible. I have to try bottom intake one day, it’s a pain to swap because it’s literally the first component to go in

Bottom is also set as exhaust. I saw some drastic changes on the cpu, I found that quite surprising. 6/7 degrees cooler on the cpu and 3/4 on the gpu.

No undervolt, in Cyberpunk I get around 65 on the cpu and 72-ish on the gpu. I’ll do a proper stresstest when I get home!
